One of my listings went under contract on a Friday night. A lovely family come through the open home on Saturday. This family had seen the property advertised online a few week prior, but had not made time to inspect. They were clearly disappointed when I told them the property was in a cooling-off period.
Every so often this happens soon after a property is under contract. Unfortunately it is not something that is within an agent’s control.
So my tip today for those currently looking to buy is this: Don’t delay! I know it’s tiring and tedious, especially if you’re having to drag your poor kids from open home to open home. If a property peaks your interest, just go. If you are unable to make an advertised inspection time, call the agent and book a private inspection. You’ve got nothing to lose and a new home to gain.
