One of our listings went under contract on a Friday night. A family come through the open home the next day who had seen the property advertised online a few weeks prior, however had not made time to inspect. They were clearly disappointed when I told them the property was in a cooling-off period. (Often a property will continue to be shown until the cooling-off period is complete an the sale has gone through)
Every so often this happens soon after a property is placed under contract. So our advice for those currently looking to buy is this: Don’t delay!
We know it can be tiring and tedious, especially if you’re having to drag your poor kids from open home to open home every Saturday but a property peaks your interest, get there as soon as you can. If you are unable to make an advertised inspection time, call the agent and book a private inspection. You’ve got nothing to lose and a new home to gain!
